Mega hero Varun Tej is coming up with the film “Operation Valentine” on March 1st, which has already missed out the release date twice. Due to post-production reasons including visual effects and sound design, the film’s release got pushed. Meanwhile, these delays in the release of Operation Valentine led to rumours about his upcoming movie too.
Apparently, Varun signed the film “Matka” which is being made in a vintage backdrop and involves a hefty budget. Directed by Karuna Kumar of Palasa fame, the movie recently got a new hand added, with Ram Talluri of SRT Entertainment joining hands with the already fixed Wyra production house to bankroll the movie. However, rumours started flowing that the film was likely to be stopped due to budget constraints. And here comes an official clarity from the hero Varun Tej regarding these rumours.
“We have shot the film for 35 days already. As Ram Talluri Garu is close to me, he joined as the production partner for the film. Once I wrap up the promotions of Operation Valentine, will be shooting for the film again. The film is neither over budgeted nor stalled”, said Varun Tej, while speaking to Gulte.com on Sunday morning.
