The 96th Academy Awards ceremony was a night of celebration for the film Oppenheimer, which dominated with seven wins out of 13 nominations. Directed by Christopher Nolan, this blockbuster atomic bomb drama took home many awards.
Irish actor Cillian Murphy, who portrayed physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer in the movie, secured the Best Actor award for his compelling performance. The film also earned the Best Picture, Best Supporting Actor, Best Film Editing, Best Cinematography, Best Score, and Best Director awards.
Meanwhile, Emma Stone was honored with the Best Actress award for her role in Yorgos Lanthimos’ Poor Things.
