Star boy Siddhu Jonnalagadda is one of the talented actors in Telugu who rose to stardom recently. His film DJ Tillu has become a big hit, and the makers are now coming up with a sequel titled Tillu Square. The film is gearing up for a grand release on March 29th.
As per the trade pundits and the box office trackers, the upcoming film might face challenges in pulling crowds to theatres. Despite the promotional content being impressive, the team may find it hard to increase footfall at theatres.
One of the main reasons for this is that the exam season is underway. Usually, the months of February and March are considered to be dry for the box office as the examinations will be in full swing. The youth and the family audiences may not be willing to catch up on new releases. Moreover, it is the elections season across the nation. The general elections will take place in Telugu states. The people will be occupied so much and the poll news will take the center stage. It is a little difficult thing to gain the momentum for the film.
Tillu Square offers youthful content and most of the families also liked the first part. Hence, we have to see how the film would tempt them in bringing them to the ticket windows. At the same time, there is no film that became a big hit after the Sankranthi season.
There is a considerable gap in Tollywood in the audiences witnessing another hit after Sankranthi. Tillu Square has the opportunity and scope to aim it big. We have to see how the film manages all these things in emerging as another blockbuster.
