Telugu superstar Allu Arjun, known for his roles in action and drama films, is reportedly not interested in pursuing opportunities in Bollywood at this time. Despite the growing trend of Indian actors making their mark in the American film industry, the Pushpa star seems content to focus on his career in Tollywood, the Telugu language film industry based in Andhra Pradesh.
In fact, some rumours are doing rounds that Allu Arjun is looking forward to his Bollywood debut, but insiders confirmed that there are no such plans. While specific reasons haven’t been disclosed, it’s possible that Bunny is busy with his current commitments in Telugu cinema. He has a number of projects lined up, and may not have the space in his schedule for Bollywood endeavors.
Additionally, he might be particular about the kind of roles he takes on, and may not have found a Bollywood script that interests him yet. While his Telugu films will be released in Bollywood for sure, he might not do a straight Hindi film anytime soon.
Of course, this doesn’t necessarily mean Allu Arjun will never be open to Bollywood opportunities in the future. The global reach of Indian cinema is undeniable, and talented actors like Bunny are increasingly being recognized on a worldwide scale. With the highly anticipated sequel, “Pushpa: The Rule,” slated for release in August 2024, he seems focused on solidifying his dominance in Tollywood before considering Bollywood ventures.
