Even though the production house and Hero’s digital team confirmed on multiple occasions, there are always rumors that Superstar Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 might get postponed. And here comes the latest rumour around the film’s release on August 14th, which sounds logical, but is not true as per the insiders.
Apparently, the announcement of poll-date, set for May 13th in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, has now surprised Telugu film producers and distributors as well, as there are chances for Pan-India star Prabhas’ Kalki 2898 AD getting postponed. The buzz has that, if Kalki wants to move to a new date, as they want a pan-India release date, they are looking forward to the long Independence Day holiday weekend, starting from August 15th. Now that Pushpa 2 already locked that date, many are wondering if Allu Arjun might give way to Prabhas as there are huge budgets at stake for the sci-fi thriller.
But then, talk from Allu Arjun’s camp is emerging that there is no question of changing the date from August 15th, as they have already many things at stake. Sukumar is currently working without any breaks to meet the release deadlines and Allu Arjun is also looking forward to the same. At the same time, one could recollect that the makers of “Devara” also want to cash on August 15th date earlier, in case Pushpa 2 changes its plans.
