Like it is revealed already, a young hero who has earlier stated that he would score ₹100 crores club one day, has finally entered into it, not just with his words but by penning the story and dialogues himself. That’s none other than Siddhu Jonnalagadda, known as the DJ Tillu of Telugu cinema. And here’s what happens now.
Surely the Tier-2 league of Telugu heroes is always confused about who is there, who is in it, and who went outside it. The likes of Nani, Vijay Devarakonda, Sharwanand, Sai Dharam Tej and a few other heroes used to be in this league, while Nani started to move upward and forward in this league with back-to-back hits. His films like Dasara (final worldwide collection ₹120 cr gross) and Hi Nanna (₹72 cr gross) made him stay ahead of everyone in that league.
And now, Siddhu Jonnalagadda entered there, scoring ₹100 crores gross and the figure is likely to be very big provided the fact that there are no big films for the next 30 days at the box office.
That makes Siddhu stand in the front line in that league of Tier-2 heroes in Tollywood, and he needs one more similar ₹100 crores hit to consolidate his position or at least another hit film that would collect more than ₹50-60 crores. More than that, the young hero should handle his fanbases, digital teams and producers quite effectively to make sure that they live up to his new image. Now that some equations in this league are changed, lets see how it is going to be.
