Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar needs no introduction to the Telugu audiences. After having an experience of multiple decades, the sensational star is now making his debut in Telugu, with the prestigious project, Kannappa.
Manchu Vishnu plays the lead role in the film and he will essay the titular role. As per the latest reports, Akshay Kumar will play Lord Siva in the film. Earlier, Prabhas was rumored to be playing this role but now, Akshay Kumar has stepped in for this character.
Akshay earlier played Lord Siva in the film OMG 2 where he convinced everyone with his performance. With Kannappa having a pan-India approach, the team might have roped in Akshay Kumar for this character.
Officially confirming Akshay Kumar’s presence in the film, Vishnu Manchu shared a video and wrote, “The #Kannappa journey just got more thrilling as we welcome the Superstar Mr. Akshay Kumar to the Telugu Film Industry. Preity Mukhundhan, Mohanlal, Prabhas, Mohan Babu, R Sarathkumar, Brahmanandam, Madhoo, and Mukesh Rishi are also a part of the film.
