Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is all set to share the silver screen with his daughter Suhana Khan in her debut film, The King. The action thriller will mark her entry into the industry, as the film will be her first theatrical release, and according to sources, Shah Rukh Khan will play more than just a cameo role in this project.
Earlier reports suggested a limited appearance for the King of Romance. However, recent developments indicate the script has been reworked to feature him in a lead role alongside Suhana as her mentor in the movie. This exciting turn of events will give fans a chance to witness the father-daughter duo light up the screen together for the first time.
Directed by Sujoy Ghosh of Kahaani fame, The King is said to be a high-octane action film with global aspirations and requires almost ₹200 crores budget too. Details about the specific characters remain under wraps, but rumours suggest Shah Rukh Khan is investing this budget to make sure that his daughter’s debut will be talked about movie in all parts of the nation.
The film is currently in pre-production with a targeted release date in the latter half of 2025.
