Chidambaram-directed Manjummel Boys is one of the best survival thrillers in recent times and the movie which hit the theatres in the first week of this month has been trending on BookMyShow for 3 weeks now. Guess what, more than 10K tickets were booked on the platform in the last 24 hours, which is another rare feat, for a dubbed movie.
The emotional bonding between friends is still bringing the youth to the theatres, apart from the thrills in the story. Mythri Movie Makers released the movie in Telugu states and they increased screens in the first week, due to heavy demand.
Although new movies graced the cinemas in the last three weeks, Manjummel Boys is still having a dream run. Released as a small-time movie, Manjummel Boys is already a huge blockbuster in Telugu as well. And selling 10K tickets in the third week is no small achievement for a dubbed movie.
