Marathi beauty Mrunal Thakur, known for her successful films in Tollywood like ‘Sita Ramam’ and ‘Hi Nanna’, and hailed as a natural actress with a background in Hindi television serials, recently revealed about a challenging moment she faced on the set. Despite her admiration for the hero, filming a particular scene proved to be difficult for her.
She was cast alongside popular actor Shahid Kapoor in the movie “Jersey” and expressed her excitement to work with him, having been a fan for a long time.
Mrunal admitted that she found herself mesmerized by Shahid’s smile during the shoot, often getting lost in admiration whenever he flashed his grin on set.
However, the situation took a humorous turn when Mrunal had to enact a scene where her character had to slap the hero. Despite her respect for him, she felt uncomfortable about the idea of physically hitting him.
While she requested the director to film the scene slowly, he insisted on a more forceful slap. Even Shahid joined in, encouraging Mrunal to slap him with more intensity and humorously suggesting she imagine hitting an ex-boyfriend.
However, despite their efforts, it took three hours to complete the scene due to Mrunal’s hesitation, leading to some embarrassment for the actress. Alas, she slapped him!
