Any film, that is rated and reviewed good or bad, will have its own set of audience. And when films that didn’t do well during their release in theatres turn up on OTT platforms for digital streaming, there will be this set of audience who will scream for missing it out. That’s what happening with Vijay Devarakonda’s “Family Star” right now.
Other day the film was released on Amazon Prime Video and it is getting superb attention from fans of Vijay and heroine Mrunal Thakur especially. Apparently a fan posted that this film has stuff that should be watched only in theatres and felt sorry for not watching it then. The social media user stated that she’s feeling sorry for missing out on those family emotions in theatres. Sharing that screenshot, Mrunal asked the fan to not feel sorry. “Don’t say sorry my dear, I’m glad that you could still watch it on Amazon Prime”, the heroine wrote.
After scoring two back-to-back blockbusters in Tollywood with Sitaramam and Hi Nanna, Mrunal Thakur thought of scoring a hattrick with “Family Star” but then the film hasn’t meet the expectations. We have to see how it performs on OTT now.
