From a long time, talented young hero Vishwaksen is banking a lot on his upcoming film “Gangs of Godavari” which is directed by lyricist-director Krishna Chaitanya. The film got pushed from December last year and found many times until finally settling down with May 17th. And here comes the teaser of the movie.
Giving a glimpse of the hero’s character, Lankala Ratna and showcasing what blood bath is capable of, the teaser of “Gangs of Godavari” appears like a complete mass film ever from Vishwaksen. Especially the striking visuals shot by cinematographer Anith and the sound design from Yuvan Shankar Raja are standing out big time. And then, we have the central theme of how a person who takes a sword into hand (violence) will fall to the same sword impactfully narrated through Sai Kumar’s voice, which sums up the teaser well.
At a time when mass films are going clueless these days though some films like Akhanda are turning out to be blockbusters, it looks like director Krishna Chaitanya got all the boxes properly ticked. Even Vishwak has also waiting to score a proper blockbuster for some time and we have it see Gangs of Godavari will satisfy that hunger.
