Amir khan’s daughter Ira khan has confessed her self in her Instagram live streaming video, that she is clinically depressed, she made a video to spread the awareness about the well being of the mental state of mind, on the occasion of World Mental Health Day.
She tried to gather the viewers and begin the conversation on the importance of mental health and sharing her own experience through the video.
Ira has begun streaming in a live video saying that ” Hi, I am depressed, and I have been through a lot in this., since four years. I have been to a doctor and I am clinically depressed”. Now am doing much better, but over a year I felt a lot in that I wanted to do something for my mental health but was not sure what to do,” she added.
Streaming live with the thought of starting a conversation with her followers, Ira continued to share that, “I have decided to take you on a journey, and it’s my journey and see what happens. Hopefully, we will get to know about ourselves and understand mental illness slightly better. I have thought about many things to say, but what should I say first? Why I am doing this?”.
Ira, daughter of Bollywood superstar Amir Khan, who has all access to do many things, she said the likewise and stated that, Let’s start from where I have started. Who am I to be depressed? and what do I have to be depressed about? I have everything right? ended the video precipitously.
“A lot has been going on, and a lot of people want to share about this, but really, things are confusing and stressful, sometimes okay and another time, not OK…life messed up with altogether.
There is no way to say it one go, but I would like to think that I have figured it out for some stuff, at least I will figure out how to make it slightly more understandable. About Mental health and mental ill-health, so come and join with me on this journey..in my awkward, quirky,sometimes-baby-voice-y, as honest-as-I-can-be…way, Let’s start the conversation. #Happy World Mental Health Day… Ira wrote it in her video description.
