Femina Miss India finalist and doctor-turned-actress Kamakshi Bhaskarla is all set to essay a crucial role in the sequel to Naga Chaitanya’s acclaimed supernatural thriller series, Dhootha. The actress, who was also seen in a significant role in Dhootha, is now gearing up to reprise her role in Dhootha 2.
Apparently, during the making of Dhootha, director Vikram was on a lookout for a competent actress who can don a performance-oriented role with ease. He then chanced upon Kamakshi Bhaskarla’s short film and decided to cast her after being impressed by the talented beauty’s performance. Dhootha 2’s pre-production work is currently underway at a jet speed and the show will be premiered on Amazon Prime Video.
Kamakshi Bhaskarla recently won the Best Actress award for her intense act in the superhit horror drama, Maa Oori Polimera 2. The film made a huge splash at the just concluded 14th Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival in New Delhi.
