The Telugu film industry has seen many actresses come and go, but a few have managed to bounce back from setbacks and regain their stardom. Despite some flops in the mid-way, the likes of Kajal Aggarwal and Tamannaah Bhatia have bounced back and made their presence felt. They are sort of sirens even now after they crossed their prime. But in recent times, some young heroines lost their forte and they need a comeback badly.
Top siren Sreeleela will be the first one we have to discuss. After the success of her film “Dhamaka”, she had a string of flops. She is hoping to make a comeback with her upcoming film, Pawan Kalyan’s “Ustaad Bhagat Singh”, but also had Nithin’s “Robinhood” and others, to prove her mettle. Mumbai girl Krithi Shetty, on the other hand, made a splash with her debut film “Uppena” but her subsequent films failed to impress. She is currently trying to regain her footing with the film “Maname”.
Marathi siren Mrunal Thakur made a name for herself with her films “Sita Ramam” and “Hi Nanna”. However, her recent film “Family Star” was a box office failure. She is currently being selective about her projects. Dusky siren Pooja Hegde was once a top star, but her recent films have not been successful. She is currently looking for the right script to make a comeback and rumours have that she signed Tillu Cube.
Similar struggles are faced by Rashmika Mandanna, another popular actress who has also had flops. She is currently trying to balance her Telugu and Hindi careers, after Animal turned out to be hit, while Pushpa 2 should actually relieve her.
These are just a few examples of the many talented actresses who are trying to make a comeback in Tollywood, as every Friday will change the fate of these heroines for sure. With so much talent on display, we have to see which starlet will actually bounces back and makes a strong comeback.
