Actor Madhavan has shared the information on Twitter and appreciated the cops. Telugu TV host cum actor Anasuya immediately responded to Madhavan’s tweet and opened up that she daily faces online abuse.
Madhavan wrote, “Teenager Detained For Issuing Threats Against MS Dhoni’s Daughter: Police Great job. time to clamp down and put the fear of law and god on these faceless monsters who think they can do and say what they want on the internet. Even if they are teens.”
Anasuya quoted the tweet and wrote, “I face such on a daily basis, Sir. I really wish there are better and strict regulations with the online abuse. it really takes a toll on me/many of us sometimes.. what if we were in our weakest of moments when we come across such..?? Won’t preventive measures help than regrets??”
Anasuya is someone who’s subjected to online abuse frequently. She is constantly raising voice against it, and like how she said; better regulations might control the abuse to some extent. We hope the policymakers come up with stringent rules to create a safer environment on the internet.
