Other day, Icon Star Allu Arjun recollected how he had to wait for a year, listening to almost 70+ scripts, hoping that he would make a mark this time as Gangotri worked out big time but he never got the fame with it. Speaking at a special event commencing the 20 years of ‘Arya’ movie, the star hero showered his love on Sukumar big time.
“If there is any single biggest moment in my life, that is none other than coming up with ‘Arya’ movie. I’ve my two feet set in the industry, only because of this film. There might be some range improvements now, but Arya is the only biggest leap in my career, as I’ve fallen to -100 after Gangotri, but rose to +100 after this film’s release, thus scoring a 200% rise” said Allu Arjun, while thanking Dil Raju and Sukumar for giving him this movie. He praised Raju for believing them and putting money.
Speaking about Sukumar, Allu Arjun said: “If there is any single person in my life who has changed my life forever, even after I look back 25 years later, it will be only Sukumar. Only his belief that I could be his Arya, and the conversations we had later, and the way we have grown up to here, everything is just amazing”.
At the same time, Allu Arjun appreciated Dil Raju and Sukumar, because all the associate and assistant directors of ‘Arya’ have directed films later on and that’s a sort of record. The likes of Vasu Varma (Josh), Bhaskar (Bommarillu), and Venu Sriram (Oh My Friend) are a few to name.
