Actors often make political comments and will ensure to distance themselves from political endeavors. But sometimes, they have no choice but to endorse political parties. Now, Rashmika praised the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Sewri-Nhava Sheva Atal Setu, which Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated in January. Rashmika called it a game-changer for Mumbai’s transit network.
“The journey of two hours can be done in 20 minutes. Aaj Navi Mumbai se Mumbai tak, Goa se Mumbai tak aur Bangalore se Mumbai take. It makes me proud,” she said.
“I think now, at least, India is not stopping anywhere. Now, look at the country’s growth. It’s freaking brilliant in the last 10 years how the country has grown. It’s amazing! I am speechless, honestly… India is the smartest country, I would like to say!” said Rashmika.
However, Rashmika’s speech has opened to criticism now.
Rashmika’s endorsement came at around a time when a hoarding in Mumbai collapsed, resulting in the demise of 14 people. At the same time, a video of overcrowding at Mumbai’s local train station also shows how the city is lagging behind with strong infrastructure.
In the context of the same, the onlookers have trolled Rashmika that she should look at the other side where we lack at basic infrastructure.
