Kalki 2898 AD: Don’t Worry, This Is Just Beginning

The moment ‘Bujji’ was unveiled the other day, the futuristic car that director Nag Ashwin has created along with India’s popular automotive design experts, there was another buzz that started to spread in Telugu circles.

Many are expressing that the buzz surrounding “Kalki 2898 AD” is not enough for a film that is made with ₹600+ crores budget, and has Superstar Prabhas in the lead. Well, here’s why they are wrong.

No matter how big a film and the bigger star it has, all the promotions will start with some simple glimpse videos only. Even Nag Ashwin also followed this proven formula that was put to use by many Hollywood studios and India’s great Rajamouli as well.

He started pushing the film’s theme with glimpses, introduced some characters and will be soon coming up with some other videos to create buzz around the movie. With only a month to go, Kalki’s team has already chalked up an enormous promotional campaign that will give them increased buzz day by day.

If buzz comes from a single glimpse alone, surely that wouldn’t help the film survive for a long time. But if the buzz comes gradually, increasing each day, then that will etch the news of the film’s release forever in the hearts of the audience and also increase the craving of the audience to watch the film without fail.

Nag Ashwin is on the right track as of now, so there is no point in worrying that Kalki 2898 AD is not getting enough buzz.
