With May 31st getting overcrowded, already the likes of Kajal Aggarwal and Sudheer Babu have decided to postpone their arrival to the early weeks of June. But then, these postponements and other films trying to cash in the first two weeks of June as “Kalki 2898 AD” will be overtaking the box office from the last week, have now led to much more traffic there.
While Kajal Aggarwal’s Satyabhama landed on June 7th, Navdeep’s delayed movie Love Mouli was locked on the same date. And then, Sharwanand’s Maname also announced that they are arriving on the 7th only. Payal Rajput’s years’ old movie Rakshana is also coming on the same day. Along with these movies, some other small films are coming on the first Friday of June 2024.
Moving on to the next Friday after that, June 14th, we have Sudheer Babu’s Harom Hara, joined by Dhanush’s Raayan a day earlier. Also, some other movies like Indrani are also releasing on the same date. In the coming week, a couple of more movies are likely to join 7th and 14th of June as most of them want to move out of the election-result zone and released after the result gets announced.
Also with the Summer holidays likely to be ending between June 12-20 for many schools and colleges, Telugu producers want to capitalise the most on these two Fridays in the month, and hence this rush.
