The state election results are due in another five days and the air is abuzz with the winds of change. The exit polls will begin from day after tomorrow and there are innumerable predictions on who will win, along with bets worth crores of rupees placed on the prospects of the competing candidates. For obvious reasons, everybody is particularly interested in the results of Pithapuram constituency. Many people strongly believe that Pawan Kalyan, who has contested for the state elections this year from the Pithapuram constituency, will be winning the elections. In fact, fans of Jana Sena and TDP have already began celebrating.
In the anticipation of Pawan Kalyan winning the elections, fans of the power star are making radium stickers with the words the words “MLA Taluka”. This has become a trend in Andhra Pradesh, with fans standing in queues outside shops to get their stickers. But according to the Motor Act, doing this is illegal. If these people are caught with these stickers on their vehicles by the traffic police, they will be asked to remove them immediately. This information, however, has not stopped people from lining up outside shops to get their stickers printed.
Observing this trend amongst youth in AP, a Tollywood producer is reportedly in the process of registering “MLA Taluka” as a film title. This producer is of the belief that if Pawan Kalyan were to win the elections, a movie with this particular title can fetch him good publicity and money. But he is not the first one to cash in on this trend. As of now, several short videos titled “MLA’s Taluka” have gone viral, showing how people are using Pithapuram’s name when work is not getting done in government offices. So, it wouldn’t be surprising if a movie comes out soon.
