Ever since the film Project-K materialized, many know that this is a science fiction movie, but they have wondered what will be the content like.
After revealing the title as “Kalki 2898 AD”, the makers gave a lot of glimpses too, but every character that is revealed to date has this mythological touch too. And the recently released “Bhairava & Bujji” animation series further clarifies our minds.
In fact, the setting shown in the glimpses of Kalki and the animation series B&B gave lots of feelings that the world of this film is inspired by both advanced science as well as Indian mythology.
That’s the reason director Nag Ashwin calls the genre of this film ‘Mytho Sci-Fi’ and that is perfectly apt we have to say. Though the animation series hasn’t shown many traces of mythology except for calling the ‘Rebel City’ Kaasi and lots of temples here and there, it looks like the film will have more of it.
And then, Prabhas’ as a ‘Bounty Hunter’ perfectly fits the bill in the animation series, and if his character is pretty much the same in the movie too, then it’s going to be fun and thrilling.
Well, surely Nag Ashwin has raised the expectations bar on Kalki 2898 AD with Bhairava & Bujji series, and the audience knows what to expect inside the theatres of this Superstar Prabhas’ starrer. Dear June 27th, we are waiting!
