Of course, Baahubali is the magnum opus created by SS Rajamouli which made Prabhas a pan-India star, and also that film laid the foundation for crossovers into Bollywood. And now, the very same Baahubali star is coming up with Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2898 AD. This comparison is not about Prabhas however.
Recently, we have seen the animated series inspired by “Baahubali” world, which is titled “Baahubali: Crown of Blood” and released on Hotstar. And now, we have a prelude version of Kalki, which is titled ‘Bujji & Bhairava’ and released on Amazon Prime Video.
While the Crown of Blood is 2D animated series, B&B is 3D series. As both came around the same time, the audience is comparing how come Kalki-inspired series has superior quality compared to that of the Baahubali-inspired series.
While the visualisation and presentation quality of B&B are top-notch with international standards, Crown of Blood is more like a locally-made product. Surprisingly, both the series are made in the Telugu states only, except for the fact that Bujji & Bhairava has Prabhas’ dubbing as well, while Crown of Blood just has Rajamouli presenting it.
