The film industry in Telugu, also known as Tollywood, has been abuzz with rumors about the delay in the release/materialisation of two highly anticipated movies: Pawan Kalyan’s #OG and Nani-Sujeeth film.
The reason behind this delay lies in the production house, DVV Entertainment, which is responsible for both projects.
DVV Entertainment is known for its successful ventures, including the blockbuster film RRR. The production house had announced that both #OG and Nani-Sujeeth film would be happening in 2024.
They are said to have tried advanced OTT deals after making these announcements. However, these deals did not materialize, leading to the delay in the release of these movies.
As a result, Nani-Sujeeth film has been cancelled, while Pawan Kalyan’s #OG has been postponed from its original release date of September 27th.
This news has been circulating in Film Nagar, the hub of the Telugu film industry, and has left fans of both actors eagerly waiting for updates on the status of these projects.
While Nani-Sujeeth film might get a new producer, #OG might hit cinemas only in 2025 based on the deal a big digital-streaming platform offers.
