The release of Bujji & Bhairava has caught everyone’s attention for a multitude of reasons. One of the most surprising and delightful aspects of the series has been Brahmanandam’s role. The legendary comedian plays Bhairava’s landlord who is vexed with the latter as he has not paid rent in the last two years. Brahmanandam did not just provide his voice but the character in the series was also designed to replicate his likeness.
The actor has slowed down over the last few years, opting to mostly give special appearances or feature in extended cameos or character roles.
That has shifted for the actor in 2023, with his work in Krishna Vamsi’s Rangamarthanda and Tharun Bhascker’s Keedaa Cola. Though these films did not perform well in box office, Brahmanandam’s performances were noticed, appreciated and celebrated. He had also unveiled his autobiography “Nenu Mee Brahmanandam” in late 2023, which made it to the bestseller lists.
Fans of Brahmanandam have an exciting 2024 to look forward to, as he will be appearing in three pan-India films, namely Kalki 2898 AD, Game Changer and Kannappa. These roles will be cameos. In addition to this, Brahmanandam will also be playing a full-length role alongside his son Raja Goutham in the film Brahma Anandam.
