Popular Kannada actor Darshan, fondly called “Challenging Star”, has been arrested by the Karnataka Police earlier today in connection with a murder case. According to the reports, Darshan was arrested at his farmhouse in Mysuru.
Reportedly, Darshan is one of the accused in the murder case of Renuka Swamy. Apart from Darshan, ten others have been taken into custody in relation to this murder case. According to the sources, Renuka Swamy constantly posted derogatory comments and sent obscene messages against actress Pavitra Gowda, who is a close aide of Darshan.
Renuka Swamy’s body was found at a shed in the Kamakshi Palya area of Bengaluru. Initially, her death was presumed to be a suicide but later in investigation, it was found to be a murder. More details about Darshan’s arrest are expected to be announced soon.
Darshan is one of the big stars in the Kannada film industry, who made many successful films like Kaatera, Roberrt, Saarathi, Yajamana, Chakravarthy and Kurukshetra.
