Queen Bee Samantha’s last acting outing was the web series “Citadel: Honey Bubby”, the Indian version of the American series Citadel, which is yet to be released.
After being struck with myositis, the actress hasn’t taken any other assignment and she’s now looking forward to making a strong comeback.
Reports are coming that Samantha Ruth Prabhu has been roped in to star alongside Megastar Mammootty in an upcoming action thriller directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon.
The film, which is scheduled to begin regular shooting on June 15th in Chennai, marks Samantha’s return to commercial cinema for the first time after recovering from myositis.
On the other hand, she has been busy with her own production, ‘Bangaram’, which is expected to be a significant step forward in her career as a producer.
Though Samantha is entertaining her fans through social media postings, updates about her health, and treatment, her own clothing label and also her travel diaries, a movie is something that they want to see her being part of. And it looks like the actress will be signing a bunch of movies in the coming days.
