Deepika’s Babybump: Rana Levels Lovely Humour

Deepika Padukone is the main heroine in “Kalki 2898 AD” and even after the fact that currently she’s pregnant with her own child, she has decided to attend the Mumbai promotions of the movie with a visible baby bump. Guess what, even in Kalki she will be seen with that bump for the larger part of the film, and that’s where Rana Daggubati’s humour comes up.

Hosting the Mumbai event of “Kalki 2898 AD”, Rana welcomed Deepika on stage, only to say, “You’re still in the character”, to which the star heroine replied, “Yes, the movie went on for about three years, so why not a few more months”. That broke the whole of the auditorium into laughs, while Rana extended his humour by saying that director Nag Ashwin pushed Deepika to do ‘method acting’. She replied, ‘clearly’.

Of course, everyone who has attended the event is hailing Deepika big time for her dedication to the craft as she would have easily avoided the promotions part of being pregnant for real, but she didn’t do that way.
