Kalki Producer: ‘Don’t give live updates and spoilers’

Of course, whenever a big star’s film is released, surely the excitement and euphoria surrounding it makes everyone rush to theatres to watch the film’s first-day first-show and give updates about the movie. More than movie critics, web portals and trade analysts, these days a lot of normal cinegoers are throwing lots of live updates on their Twitter feed and Insta stories. And now, Kalki 2898 AD producer, Vyjayanthi Movies has a request to them.

In a statement released by Vyjayanthi Movies, the team has emphasized that this has been a journey of four long years, marked by unwavering commitment and a relentless pursuit of perfection. “There was no stone unturned in bringing this story to a global scale, there was no looking back or compromising in the quality,” the statement reads. “Blood and sweat has been put in by the team to bring this forward”, they further added.

The production house however gives a message to update-giving enthusiasts that an immense effort and dedication that goes into crafting a cinematic experience of this magnitude. “It’s a humble request to not give out spoilers, give out minute by minute update or indulge in piracy and spoil the experience for the audiences!” the statement urges.

As the countdown to the film’s release continues, the audience can look forward to witnessing the magnum opus on the silver screen, and we have to see if they will respectfully take this request and stop giving updates. Vyjayanthi Movies has also called upon the audience to “respect the cinema; respect the craft”.
