Kalki: Bengali Actor Saswara Chatterjee Steals The Show

Kalki 2898 AD is the new release in the town. Prabhas is starring in the lead role, and the film is directed by Nag Ashwin. The makers are happy with how the film was made and received a good talk from everyone. Interestingly, one of the actors from the movie is getting a lot of attention now. He is Bengali actor Saswata Chatterjee.

Saswata Chatterjee plays a commando for the evil in the film and he gets a maximum screen time compared to all the other top actors in the film. Saswata was not seen during the promotions as he is relatively new to Telugu audiences. Although, he is an established actor in Bengali and Hindi, Kalki is his debut in Telugu.

Earlier, Saswata received fame nation wide with the film Kahaani, starring Vidya Balan in the lead role. Saswata played the role Bob Biswas in the movie. Later, he went on to do many Hindi films including Sushanth Singh Rajput’s last film Dil Bechara.

Saswara played his part very well and he seems to have dubbed for his character too. It is impressive to see this Bengali actor getting a major attention in Telugu film circles now.
