One of the interesting pairings that has clicked big time is none other than sensational hero Vijay Devarakonda and talented beauty Rashmika Mandanna.
They had impressed with their chemistry in movies like Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade. However, they were supposed to join hands for “Family Star” too, with their Geetha Govindam director, but surprisingly that role went to Mrunal Thakur.
Director Rahul Sankrityan of “Taxiwala” fame is now carving a period film set in the Rayalaseema region of Kurnool, with his debut film hero, Vijay Deverakonda as the lead actor.
Given her previous success in portraying the character of Srivalli in Pushpa, from the Rayalaseema region, the director is said to be confident that she will once again deliver a memorable performance in his movie too. In all likelihood, she might join hands with Vijay Devarakonda on the screen again, say insiders.
As the rumours of Rashmika Mandanna gearing up to reprise another Rayalaseema based role most possibly, opposite Vijay Devarakonda, fans eagerly await her return as Srivalli in the second instalment of Pushpa.
On the other hand, she has films like “The Girlfriend,” “Kubera,” and “Sikander” in hand, while a couple of Bollywood films are also on the sets, while Vijay Devarakonda is filming for #VD12 with Gowtham Tinnanuri.
