Young hero Kiran Abbavaram who has shot to superior fame with his lockdown film Rajavaru Ranivaru, is working pretty hard to score a successful movie that has eluded him for some time.
With most of his recent movies like Sammathame, Meter, Vinaro Bhagyamu and Rules Ranjan going for a toss at the box office, his market situation is currently in a state of confusion.
Right now, Kiran has two almost-wrapped movies in his hand including Dilruba and an untitled film. While Dilruba is a college backdrop love story featuring Rukshar Dhillon as the lead, his untitled film is a VFX-based period action film that was written by the hero himself. This film has a huge budget and was shot from a year already with massive sets built. Both these films are helmed by newcomers only.
If these two films don’t do as expected at the box office, surely the digital rights demands for Kiran’s movies will go down drastically and affect the investors of his movies. That’s the reason he has to be pretty careful about the content of these films, their promotions and the release timing.
We have seen lots of talented young heroes losing their market in the last two years due to repeated bad films and people not getting interested in the routine content they are churning out. Hope this young hero is noticing that aspect.
