And Ashwini Dutt’s revelation that 60% of Kalki’s shoot already got wrapped, has added more fuel to it. But what if Nag Ashwin is to be believed, it’s not going to be that easy.

In addition to the returning stars Prabhas as Bhairava, Amitabh Bachchan as Ashwatthama, Deepika Padukone as Sumathi, and Kamal Haasan as Kali, Kalki Part 2 will feature several new characters. Nag Ashwin emphasized that these additions are crucial to the story’s progression and will play significant roles in shaping the narrative.
The first instalment of Kalki established three distinct worlds: Kashi, Shambala, and the Complex. However, Ashwin revealed that Part 2 will introduce a fourth world, further expanding the scope and complexity of the story. This new setting is expected to provide a fresh perspective and introduce new challenges for the characters to navigate.
While Ashwin did not specify an exact timeline for the release of Kalki Part 2, he acknowledged that the process of bringing this epic saga to life will require substantial time and effort. The director emphasized the need for extensive research, writing, and preparation before filming can commence. But then, all these new additions, which were officially confirmed by Nag Ashwin, are going to stun for sure.
