Rumors and speculations often swirl around highly anticipated films, especially those featuring popular actors. Such was the case with the recent buzz surrounding South Korean star Ma Dong-seok’s alleged involvement in Prabhas’ upcoming film “Spirit.” However, the excitement quickly fizzled out as the news turned out to be nothing more than a rumor.
Various media outlets reported on Monday that Ma Dong-seok, known internationally as Don Lee, had signed on to play the villain opposite Prabhas in director Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s film.
This news was met with surprise and enthusiasm, as Ma Dong-seok is a highly acclaimed actor in the Korean film industry who has also made a mark in Hollywood with films like “The Outlaws” and “Train to Busan.” The reports claimed that he had agreed to portray a negative role, which further fueled the speculation.
However, the news turns out to be a mere rumour only. According to insiders, while director Sandeep Reddy Vanga is indeed looking to cast an internationally renowned actor as the antagonist in his crime thriller, Ma Dong-seok’s name is just one among the many being considered.
The Korean actor has not officially signed the film, nor have the producers made any serious attempts to convince him. Let’s see what happens.
