Case Filed On Raj Tarun Under Section 420 & 493

Published by

Telugu hero Raj Tarun finds himself at the center of a major controversy as his longtime partner Lavanya (who went by the name Anvika when she did short films) has filed a police complaint accusing him of infidelity and abandonment. The case has been registered at the Narisingi Police Station under BNS sections 420 (cheating), 506 (criminal intimidation), and 493 (cohabitation caused by a man deceitfully inducing a belief of lawful marriage).

In her complaint, Lavanya claims that she and Raj Tarun had been in a relationship since 2012 and had been living together since 2014. She alleges that they even married in a temple, though this has not been legally formalized. She even mentioned that Raj Tarun forced him to undergo an abortion and she submitted proofs regarding the same. Their relationship is said to have taken a turn for the worse when Raj began an affair with heroine Malvi Malhotra, leaving her feeling abandoned and distressed.

Lavanya’s complaint details various disturbing incidents, including threats from the actress involved, her brother, and other associates. While Raj Tarun has publicly denied the allegations, asserting that he and Lavanya mutually agreed to part ways in 2017, it looks like the evidence submitted by Lavanya is going to make a strong case against him. Also, Lavanya hired a popular lawyer, former Janasena spokesperson Kalyan Dilip Sunkara and primary reports are indicating that Raj Tarun will have a long legal battle to face.
