Digital-age hero Kiran Abbavaram, the rising star of Telugu cinema, is set to captivate audiences with his upcoming film ‘KA’, which is currently being talked about. However, the genre of the film is even surprising to OTT folks and they are said to be asking for the first copy of the film before taking a call.
Reports are coming that ‘KA’ will see the actor delve into a time-travelling concept, exploring connections between the past and its intricate connections to the present as he plays the role of a postman. The film is expected to transport viewers to a bygone era, regarding which producers constructed sets almost 1 year ago, and even 60% of the shoot was completed.
While South Indian cinema has a rich history of exploring the concept of time travel in various genres, from science fiction to comedy with films like Balayya’s Aditya 369, Indru Netru Naalai, Surya’s 24 and Sharwa’s Oke Oka Jeevitham, the success rate of them is limited. Most of the time, the stories of these movies turned out to be a copy of Hollywood projects. And that lack of originality is what is affecting even now.
We have to see if Kiran Abbavaram will come out with flying colors through this time-travel movie Ka, while he has another lover story Dil Ruba in the offing too.
