All Eyes On Shankar for Indian 2

Director Shankar is confident of making a successful comeback this time with the film Indian 2. Starring Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan in the lead role, the film is hitting the screens tomorrow. Meanwhile, the die-hard fans of Shankar are hoping that Shankar overcome his writing issues, at least with this film.

Until 2008, Shankar pulled it off with the help of writer Sujatha Rangarajan. However, after the demise of Sujatha, Shankar’s films failed miserably at the box office. Enthiran was the peak of Shankar’s career and all the other films that he did after that failed one after the other, putting Shankar’s career in a spot.

However, Shankar worked hard in the meantime and has come up with a beautiful screenplay for Indian 2 which is to be witnessed on the big screen soon. Also, Shankar recently worked for the film Gamechanger with Ram Charan, for which Karthik Subbaraj has provided the story.

If Indian 2 becomes a hit and if it catches the praises for its writing, we can assume that Shankar had found his lost game and if not, we have to see how he will cope up with this!
