Karthi’s Sardar 2: Cambodia Mission To Begin

Hero Karthi and director PS Mithran’s superhit Sardar will have a sequel which was announced by the makers, after the release of Part 1. The sequel Sardar 2 is now gearing up to start rolling. The film’s pooja ceremony was held recently and the regular shoot commences in grand sets in Chennai on July 15th.

The expectations are quite high on Sardaar 2, given the prequel was the highest-grossing movie for Karthi. The sequel will be made on a much bigger budget. It will be produced by S Lakshman Kumar under the banner of Prince Pictures.

Sardar 2 deals with the Cambodia mission, as earlier disclosed through a video. Karthi will be seen as a RAW agent in the movie. Yuvan Shankar Raja composes the music, while George C Williams takes care of the cinematography.
