Cancer-Hit Actress Returns To Work

Published by

Bollywood actress and Bigg Boss fame Hina Khan, known for her roles in popular TV shows like Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Kasautii Zindagii Kay, has recently been diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. Despite the challenging diagnosis, she has shown remarkable dedication and strength by returning to work even before she gets healed completely.

Hina recently underwent her first chemotherapy session, and took to Instagram to share a video of herself getting back to work, wearing a wig to cover the scars. In her caption, she emphasized the importance of normalizing working during treatment and embracing the changes that come with it. “My first work assignment after my diagnosis… Walking the talk is challenging, especially when facing life’s biggest challenges. So, give yourself a break on bad days; it’s okay… you deserve it. However, don’t forget to live your life on the good days, no matter how few they are. These days still hold importance. Accept the change, embrace the difference, and NORMALISE it,” she wrote in her post.

Her decision to return to work during her treatment has inspired many, showcasing her unwavering spirit and determination to overcome the disease. She has been using social media to share glimpses of her journey, offering hope and encouragement to others battling similar challenges. Of course, not everyone will be actually able to return to work without getting completely recovered. The likes of Manisha Koirala and Mamata Mohandas have taken a complete break until they recover from cancer.
