Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor has been hospitalized due to severe food poisoning, according to multiple reports. The 27-year-old actress is being treated at HN Reliance Hospital in South Mumbai on Thursday.
Janhvi’s father, producer Boney Kapoor, has confirmed the news and stated that there is no need for concern. “Janhvi was admitted to the hospital due to food poisoning. She is stable now and is expected to be discharged in a day or two,” he said.
The actress had returned to Mumbai from Chennai on Tuesday and was feeling unwell on Wednesday, prompting her to reschedule her appointments. However, her condition worsened on Thursday, leading to her hospitalization.
Janhvi has been maintaining a busy schedule lately, with promotional activities for her upcoming film Ulajh and shooting for her Telugu debut Devara Part 1 alongside Jr NTR. She has also been filming for Karan Johar’s Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari with Varun Dhawan. Despite her hectic work commitments, she has attended Ambani’s wedding as well recently.
Doctors are said to have assured that Janhvi is expected to make a full recovery and be discharged from the hospital in a day or two. Fans can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that the actress is receiving the necessary medical attention and is on the path to a speedy recovery.
