Niharika Konidela who produced short films and web series through her Pink Elephant Pictures is now coming up with an interesting movie. Titled Committee Kurrollu, the film’s trailer was out recently and it is set up against a rural backdrop, revolving around the lives of youngsters.
The film traces multiple events in the lives of childhood friends who are connected to their village’s Jathara. The film seems to be focusing on how the reservation system can impact the lives and can create a divide between them, leading to friction among themselves.
The trailer unfolds into a series of events, which later escalate into tensed situations. The friends will then decide to contest in the local elections against the existing leaders which will further complicate the existing issues among themselves.
The film features a bunch of youngsters in the lead roles apart from seasoned actors like Sai Kumar. Sandeep Saroj, Yashwanth Pendyala, Trinath Varma, Prasad Behera, Sharanya Suresh, Tejaswi Rao and others are a part of the film’s cast.
Yadhu Vamshi makes his debut as a director with the film, scheduled for a release on the 9th of August.
