After the arrival of Aha streaming app, which is owned by ace producer Allu Arvind, many producers and star heroes have thought of coming up with a similar platform, only to drop from the idea later. The likes of Dil Raju and Mahesh Babu have thought of starting their own OTT but dropped the idea. Here comes Suresh Babu, joining them.
Apparently there is a buzz coming from Ramanaidu Studios that Suresh has rights of so many films in hand, so he would be starting his own OTT platform quite easily. But then, Suresh Babu is said to have decided not to venture into creating an app as that will be tougher than what everyone thinks. Continuously supplying content to keep the subscribers engaged is the key here, and we’re seeing how lack of content is affecting Aha now. Maybe that has forced Suresh to drop his plans.
Reports are coming out that Suresh Babu will be teaming up with streaming giant Netflix in order to create new content. While Netflix has teamed up with many Bollywood biggies like Karan Johar, Anurag Kashyap and else, they haven’t teamed up with south producers so far. Now if they team up with Suresh Babu, surely some exciting Telugu content will make its way to the streaming app.
But the only thing is, hope Suresh Babu will not take years to complete these web series.
