Reigning South heroine Trisha Krishnan, who is giving all happening and upcoming actresses a run for their money with her strong dominance and multiple offers in kitty, woke up to a big surprise this morning. In a rare feat for any Indian heroine, the 96 star recently featured in a clue on the popular news magazine The New York Times in the crossword puzzle column.
The clue, “Actress Krishnan of South Indian cinema,” led to the answer “Trisha,” marking a proud moment for her and her fans. Overwhelmed with the excitement, she took to her Instagram and share her joy by posting pictures of the crossword puzzle clue with her name highlighted.
In a lighthearted caption, she wrote, “K bye! Done showing off (sic),” capturing her delight and gratitude. Samantha Ruth Prabhu also expressed her delight on seeing Trisha’s name in the puzzle. As New York Times is a renowned global news daily, the excitement seems to be boundless.
Trisha is currently one of the busiest heroines in South. She will next be seen in Ajith Kumar’s Vidaamuyarchi and Good Bad Ugly, Kamal Haasan’s Thug Life and Chiranjeevi’s Vishwambhara.
