Generally, we expect only two heroes in a multi-starrer film. Multi-starrers with three heroes became a rarity in the recent past. In such times, three heroes have teamed up for a multi-starrer in Tollywood, and that too for a Tamil remake. Actors Bellamkonda Sreenivas, Manchu Manoj, and Nara Rohit have joined hands for the remake of the Tamil film Garudan.
Garudan, starring Soori, Unni Mukundan, and Sasi Kumar, was one of the commercially successful Tamil films this year. The film is a rural action drama about Sokkan (Soori), a loyal assistant to two childhood friends, Aadhi (Sasikumar) and Karuna (Unni Mukundan). His loyalty is tested as he faces betrayal and the need to survive.
Vijay Kanakamedala of Naandhi fame directs the Telugu remake. We hear that the shooting is happening briskly, and the makers plan to release the movie in early 2025. It has been long since Nara Rohit, Manchu Manoj, and Bellamkonda Sreenivas scored a hit at the box office. Rohit and Manoj have been away from the silver screen for a long time.
However, three of them still enjoy popularity among the masses, which is an advantage for the film. So, it has to be seen if they score success with this movie and make a strong comeback.
