Collections Are Important For Me: Siva Karthikeyan

Published by

Amaran is one of the recently released movies at the box office. It is a Pan-Indian movie starring Siva Karthikeyan and Sai Pallavi in the lead roles. The film is performing extremely well at the box office, and the collections are super positive. Interestingly, Siva Karthikeyan stated that collections are important to me.

During the promotions of Kanguva, actor Suriya said that the school-going kids are also talking about collections, and it is not a healthy trend in the cinema industry. He pointed out that actors like him must set an example and talk about film’s success beyond collections.

However, Siva Karthikeyan is openly claiming the collections of his film and he has a reason for the same.

“Many said Amaran grossed 150cr. For me, Collections are important because they allow me to provide audiences with films that have a larger budget. Amaran has become a very big hit and the film scored well at the box office. Many are saying that the film earned a lot of revenue. I am glad everyone liked the film. I will never take this collection as a competition to other films. I will forever be truthful to Tamil cinema,” said Siva Karthikeyan.

Siva Karthikeyan’s statement completely makes sense as he is in dire need of commercial success, which can help him grow as a star hero. His market is improving with each film. With Amaran, he gained a pan-India market as well. If he focuses well and continue to score hits, he will emerge as a successful pan-India star. However, he should ensure that his fans does not indulge in wars with others over film’s collections.
