USA has been a great market for the Telugu film industry. Over the years, the market has improved for many stars who are constantly looking forward to promote their films aggressively. Recently, NTR promoted his film in the USA and he attended a special screening of the film in Los Angeles. Now, Ram Charan also planned a promotional event in the USA.
The makers of Gamechanger confirmed that Ram Charan will promote the film in Dallas, after they launch the teaser this month. The exact date and the schedule has not been completed but the team is pumped about meeting the fans and audiences in the USA.
Earlier, many other films were promoted in the USA during the film’s release and this seems to be a new promotional strategy that is working for big stars. NTR’s Devara has been promoted well during the pre-release and the advance sales have been pretty impressive back then. With Gamechanger, Ram Charan is also eyeing on the same.
Especially, after the release of RRR, both Ram Charan and NTR gained a global appeal. The two stars managed to catch the attention of several International actors as well as technicians. The Telugu community in the USA also welcomed the film in a grand manner. With that confidence, NTR went an extra mile to meet the fans in the USA for Devara’s release. If Ram Charan, who already enjoys a big fan base in the USA also repeats the feat, it would be a great move for him as well as the film to gain more attention.
On the release day, Devara grossed more than 3M$ and Gamechanger also eyes a big number. Director Shankar has a big market and the Tamil community also look forward to watching the film. Kiara Advani’s pan-India appeal will also be an additional advantage for the film.
NTR starrer Devara is one of the big-budget flicks in the recent times. Directed by Koratala Siva, the first film of the two-part franchise received unanimous positive reports from everyone on the release day. Now, the makers of Gamechanger are also planning for a big release along with special premieres in and outside the Telugu states, including the overseas.
Looking at this, the new trend seems to be ‘USA ki Daredi’ going forward for all big films.
