Icon star Allu Arjun got a huge relief concerning the case filed against him by the AP Police. The Andhra Pradesh High Court ordered to quash the petition filed by the police department. Earlier, Nandyal City Police had filed a case against Allu Arjun and former Nandyal MLA, Silpa Ravi Chandra Kishore Reddy, citing a breach of the Election Commission’s Model Code of Conduct.
Earlier this year, Allu Arjun took part in a major public event in Nandyal, supporting Silpa Ravi during the elections. On his arrival, a large rally featuring motorcycles and cars took place in Nandyal Nandyal. Later, a large group of people assembled at Silpa Ravi’s residence. Although prior permission wasn’t taken, police officials provided security for Allu Arjun’s visit. After this visit, a few individuals complained to the Election Commission, leading the Nandyal Two Town Police to register an FIR against both Allu Arjun and Silpa Ravi.
In response, Allu Arjun and Silpa Ravi went to the High Court to seek dismissal of the case. After reviewing the matter on October 25, the High Court postponed its decision until today (November 6). This morning, the court ruled in favour of Allu Arjun and Silpa Ravi, quashing the petition against them.
