Rebel Star Prabhas’s friends Pramod and Vaishnav have launched a platform to encourage new storytellers to enter the film industry. Titled The Script Craft, this website is a platform for aspiring script and storywriters to publicly showcase their work. As part of the launch, the team has also introduced a script-writing contest.
People who want to participate in this contest must write a movie synopsis of a maximum of 3500 words about their favorite hero’s acquisition of superhuman abilities. The writers need to explain where their hero gets these superpowers, what battles he fights, and what new worlds he conquers.
The readers will read and vote for the stories on Script Craft’s website. The story with the highest votes would be the winner. The winning writer will get a chance to work as an assistant writer or assistant director for a feature film. This is a great initiative for budding writers who want to showcase their talent.
Meanwhile, netizens appreciate Prabhas and his friends for coming up with such an idea and executing it to encourage new talent into the industry. Pramod is already associated with UV Creations and it is another new initiative from him which might work well if executed perfectly.
