Why Non-Telugu Actors Love Telugu Audiences!

Published by

If you have to enjoy a film, the best viewing experience is delivered in the single screens of the Telugu states. Irrespective of the star, the fans and audiences turn out in huge numbers at theatres to celebrate the film. Movie lovers in Telugu do not care if it is a new release or re-release, because many re-releases have performed well compared to the first run in theatres. The Telugu audiences never discriminate between languages and always give utmost importance to the content.

The recent example is that Sivakarthikeyan’s Amaran being loved by everyone more than the Telugu releases during Diwali. The fans from other film industries always give second priority to actors who does not belong to their language.

But Telugu audiences openly accepted heroes like Dulquer Salmaan and so far, all his films have become huge hits. Actors like Suriya and Karthi always feel emotional, talking about the love they receive from the Telugu audiences. In the recent past, Suriya, Sivakarthikeyan and Dulquer shared how they feel very special, receiving the love from the audiences in Telugu.

“I feel too blessed. When Surya s/o Krishnan was released, you all showered so much love on my film. I got tears in my eyes. It really means a lot to me. This is just a blood connection. We are all connected, and this bond is special for me. Thank you,” Suriya said.

“Nithiin calls me every day to tell me that the film is collecting so well in Telugu states. I feel very happy. He tells me that it is very mad here. I feel so special that people are watching my work. I thank Sudhakar sir for giving a big release for us. The love given to me is a big success. The audiences are accepting me,” said Sivakarthikeyan.

“The Telugu audiences and the people and I have a divine connection. I don’t know how to express it. When Nag Ashwin approached me for Mahanati, I did not know the language, but somehow I did the film,” said Dulquer Salmaan.

Over the years, the Telugu audiences welcomed heroes from other languages with open arms.
