The curious case of Satyadev!

Satyadev, the talented actor, is synonymous with spotless performances in numerous movies. He has been in Tollywood for more than a decade and appeared in over 30 movies so far.

After starting off with hero friends’ roles in movies like Prabhas’ Mr. Perfect and Mahesh Babu’s SVSC, he slowly promoted himself to playing lead roles with sheer hard work and no industry background.

Within no time, Satyadev garnered everyone’s attention with his impressive performances in movies like Jyothi Lakshmi, Ghazi, Brochevarevarura, Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya, and Krishnamma. While most of his movies failed to score at the box office, the industry and audiences took notice of the actor’s work.

Satyadev’s latest movie as the main lead, Zebra, released on Friday to weak response. Even though the film was made with an exciting storyline and decent budget, critics opined that it faltered in execution. However, Satyadev, as usual, walked away with accolades for his acting.

Zebra’s failure to post decent numbers at the box office is an indication that it’s high time Satyadev chose the right scripts that match his acting prowess.

While a mass hero can pull audiences to theaters even with a bad film, actors like Satyadev must rely on choosing the right script and ensuring that it’s executed flawlessly. It goes without saying that Satyadev’s fans and the industry will chip in to support him the day he bounces back with a solid project.
